Decoding Diseases: The Role of Planetary Strength in Astrology

Health of a person depends on 3 factors in horoscope :

(1) Planets (Graha)
(2) Signs (Rashi)
(3) Houses (Bhava)

Here’s an overview of how each major planet is linked to specific health issues, depending on its strength in the horoscope.

Sun : A dry and fiery planet, the Sun governs the backbone, head, brain, heart, and vital energy. A strong Sun promotes healthy bones and overall vitality. When weakened, it can lead to issues such as bile imbalance, eye problems, slip disc, spondylitis, heart conditions, fever, and neuralgia.

The Moon : a water-element planet that influences the chest, lungs, mind, stomach, blood, and bodily fluids. A strong Moon promotes overall mental and physical well-being. However, when the Moon is weak, it can contribute to issues such as respiratory problems, menstrual irregularities, breast cancer, urinary disorders, edema, anemia, digestive issues, and mental health concerns.

Mars : A fiery and dry planet, Mars governs muscles, bone marrow, physical strength, and blood. When Mars is strong, it enhances bone health and boosts resilience. However, a weak Mars may lead to blood disorders, inflammation, accidents, fractures, heavy bleeding, and injuries.

Mercury : An earth-element planet, Mercury governs the nervous system, speech, hands, and skin. A strong Mercury promotes a healthy body and a clean, hygienic lifestyle. When Mercury is weak, it may lead to respiratory issues, mental health problems, pneumonia, digestive disorders, speech difficulties, and weakened nerves.

Jupiter : Associated with the ether element, is the largest planet and governs some of the body’s most vital functions, including the liver, body fat, blood vessels, and overall bodily congestion. A strong Jupiter promotes a healthy, robust body with a positive mindset. On the other hand, a weak Jupiter can lead to issues such as liver or stomach disorders, obesity, spleen problems, and a tendency toward pessimism.

Venus : A planet associated with water, Venus influences the reproductive system, eyes, and sexual vitality. A strong Venus enhances attractiveness and promotes sexual health, while a weak Venus may contribute to kidney issues, reproductive disorders, diabetes, and substance abuse.

SATURN : A cold, dry, and airy element that governs the joints, ribs, legs, hips, and marrow. A strong Saturn promotes a robust skeletal structure. When weak, it may lead to joint pain, arthritis, paralysis, asthma, poor posture, and, in some cases, depression or tendencies toward criminal behavior.

Rahu : A mysterious, smoky planet that primarily influences the expansion of body parts, cells, and skin. When Rahu is strong, it boosts energy and vitality. However, when weak, it may contribute to health issues such as infections, gangrene, epilepsy, tumors, ulcers, and even cancer.

Ketu : Governs the Air element, primarily affecting the skin and blood. While Ketu is known for its influence on mental health, a strong mind contributes to overall well-being. A powerful Ketu enhances physical endurance, whereas a weakened Ketu may lead to lethargy, skin disorders, allergies, toxin-related illnesses, and intense pain.

This highlights how the positions of the planets can influence both our mental and physical well-being.

Keep praying to Bhagwan Mahadev, the ruler of the nine planets. His powerful Mahamrityunjaya mantra serves as a healing remedy to overcome any health challenges or conditions.

Here’s a simplified and focused approach to structure your sankalp (resolve) and practice:

Sankalp for Chanting the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra

Today, I resolve to chant the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra with deep devotion and surrender. As I begin this sacred practice, I envision Lord Shiva seated in a serene and tranquil posture, extending his right hand in a gesture of divine blessing. His compassionate gaze embodies protection and guidance, leading me through life’s challenges with strength and grace.

In seeking his blessings, I chant this powerful mantra five times:

◾️ ॐ मृत्युंजय महादेव त्राहिमां शरणागतम्।
जन्म मृत्यु जरा व्याधि पीड़ितं कर्म बंधनः।

◾️ हे मृत्यु को जीतने वाले महादेव मैं आपकी शरण में आया हूं, मेरी रक्षा करें। मुझे मृत्यु, वृद्धावस्था, बीमारियों जैसे दुख देने वाले कर्मों के बंधन से मुक्त करें।

◾️ Mrityunjaya Mahadev, I surrender myself to you. Protect me and liberate me from the bonds of painful experiences like birth, death, old age, and disease.

With this prayer, I humbly request Lord Shiva’s guidance and protection, to overcome fears and suffering and to find peace within.

Then begin chanting the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra 108 times each day, committing to this daily practice as a path to inner strength, healing, and divine grace.

◾️ We bow to the three-eyed One, the fragrant and nourishing force of the universe. Just as a fruit falls from its stem, may we be liberated from the cycle of death and mortality.

Feel His protective presence surrounding you, knowing that He hears your prayers. 🙏🏼
